Mid Target Intel Analyst

Purpose and Impact

This position with Amentum supports the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through the analysis of Target intelligence. Your fused analysis and assessment will be vital to the decision making of senior leaders, including the CENTCOM Commander. You will witness the indirect impact of your analysis on the battlefield and through strategic decisions made by our leaders throughout the Intelligence Community.

The employee conducts Target Intelligence analysis and produces intelligence products in support of global missions and customers. The analyst applies ODNI analytic tradecraft standards to conduct research using a variety of databases and toolsets, compile and analyze complex data, and develop assessments in support of the team’s mission. The employee provides personnel with skills and knowledge to support the Joint Intelligence Center, including, in some cases, 24/7 shift work for situational awareness and warning.

Contractor personnel maintain the ability to conduct all-source analysis of the USCENTCOM AOR and USCENTCOM Areas of Interest (AOI) and gather and analyze information, providing recommendations necessary for the Government to produce, disseminate, and apply intelligence products in the following subject areas:
Analysis, Production, Application and Dissemination – Current and Term, Daily Production, Graphics and Visual Information, Write for Release, Current Intelligence Support, Political/Military, Terrorism, Cyberspace, Human Terrain/Socio-Cultural, Geospatial Intelligence, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Energy/Environmental, Ballistic Missiles, Compromise Mitigation Support, Open‑Source, Order of Battle, Target Intelligence Analysis, Target Materials Analysis, and Target Discovery and Network/Systems.

• 4-8 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree and/or DD‑214 in related field (USN: 183X, 3912, 3913, 3924 USA: 35A, 35F USAF: 14N, 1N0, 1N1B USMC: 020X, 0231)
