As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site expectations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading and unloading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity for vehicles, deliveries, and/or visitors, following post orders and reporting irregularities involving restricted areas, gates, or shipping and receiving operations.

+ Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or supervisors regarding security-related concerns, operational disruptions, and incidents that may affect daily location activity.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A TSA-issued TWIC is required.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
