, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, loading docks, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, contractors, and delivery drivers entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain professional readiness and properly handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
