This role is responsible for developing strategic relationships with colleges, universities, community colleges, technical schools, workforce development organizations, and educational institutions seeking to expand cybersecurity education offerings. The Academic Program Manager serves as a trusted advisor, helping institutions evaluate, adopt, and grow cybersecurity programs that align with workforce demands and student success outcomes. Reports to the Academics leadership team or designated manager and will play a key role in strengthening relationships and expanding the impact of the EC-Council Academia Series and Partnership Model ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

Key Responsibilities Academic Partner Growth & Engagement
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective academic partners.
  • Identify opportunities for institutional growth through program expansion, curriculum adoption, certifications, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Conduct consultative meetings with academic leadership, faculty, workforce development teams, and administrators.
  • Support institutions in evaluating EC-Council's academic and certification offerings.
Partner Retention & Success
  • Build long-term relationships that drive partner satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Develop account growth plans for strategic partners.
  • Facilitate renewals, expansions, and adoption of new programs and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and customer experience.
Product & Program Promotion
  • Promote EC-Council's portfolio of cybersecurity certifications, learning solutions, and workforce development offerings.
  • Support growth initiatives related to AI certifications, cybersecurity awareness programs, and EC-Council Learning.
  • Educate partners on available grants, benefits, program opportunities, and partner incentives.
Pipeline & Performance Management
  • Maintain accurate records, forecasting, and opportunity management within Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage assigned performance metrics, pipeline health, account planning, and revenue objectives.
  • Monitor progress against organizational goals and business development initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Customer Success, and Academic Services teams.
  • Participate in partner events, conferences, webinars, faculty development initiatives, and industry engagement activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in higher education, workforce development, educational technology, academic partnerships, business development, or account management.
  • 3+ years of managing personnel and sales related tasks
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
