Join Our Team as a Full Time Floating Maintenance Technician
Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the South, FL Region. If you are a community‑inspired, passion‑driven individual with a can‑do attitude, we want you on our growing team!
Key Requirements- Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a multi‑family apartment style community
- EPA 608 Type I & II or EPA Universal certification is a very strong requirement for this position
- Ability to work independently in multi‑site or larger properties, and within a team environment
- Valid/active driver’s license, ability to travel within assigned portfolio/region in South, FL

Responsibilities- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on‑call duties and occasional overtime
- Education: High school diploma or GED; industry‑related courses preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Skills & Certifications:
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record‑keeping purposes
