About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at Eagle will report to Maintenance manager and facility site manager and is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of all facility equipment, facility and systems to support uninterrupted business activities. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions, and executing timely repairs to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, fabrication and modifications to production lines to meet the changing demand.

The Maintenance Technician will collaborate closely with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs that enhance equipment longevity and safety. A key outcome of this position is to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall operational excellence by proactively identifying potential issues and recommending improvements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Able to do modifications to production lines to meet production changes
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or on-call shifts if required
Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support asset management.
  • Collaborate with facility management and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and respond to urgent repair requests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
  • May be asked to travel to our other local facilities to do repairs or help other technicians on projects
Skills

The Maintenance Technician utilizes technical skills daily to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Strong problem-solving abilities enable the technician to quickly identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance activities clearly and accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance with regulatory standards, protecting both personnel and equipment.

Additionally, proficiency with maintenance management software helps in tracking work orders and scheduling preventive maintenance efficiently. The ability to do fabrication and modifications to production lines for a seamless flow with the ever-changing product (adding of conveyor rails transfers between conveyor sections, and set up of new line equipment)

Normal hours of operation is 6 Am to 4:30 pm 4 to 5 days a week
