Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning is seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Helper to join our growing service and construction team. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone with basic construction experience who is ready to build a long‑term career in the plumbing trade. You will work alongside experienced and master plumbers, gaining hands‑on training in both residential and commercial plumbing systems.

• Assist experienced plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Help assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures for water supply and drainage systems
• Carry tools and materials and assist with job site setup and cleanup
• Cut, measure, and thread pipe using hand and power tools
• Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and performance issues
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
• Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures
• Perform additional labor duties as assigned by the supervising plumber

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in construction or plumbing‑related work required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and mechanical systems preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, bend, and perform manual labor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to report to the shop or job sites
• Willingness to learn and commitment to professional growth in the plumbing trade

• Service and construction job sites throughout the Tampa Bay, FL area
• Must be able to commute to Tampa, FL
• Work is primarily field‑based at residential and commercial properties
