Service Plumber Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Plumber with a minimum of 3 years in the plumbing field. Candidates with commercial plumbing experience will have an advantage. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing new piping systems, faucets, and toilets. Proficiency in working with PEX, PVC, CPVC, and cast iron is required. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to effectively communicate with customers on-site and complete detailed reports summarizing each service call.

• Complete detailed reports summarizing service calls.
• Communicate effectively with customers on-site.

• Minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience.
• Experience with PEX, PVC, CPVC, and cast iron.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in brazing and soldering techniques.

• Commercial plumbing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical and construction skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

The role operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and possess their tools and PPE at all times. Work includes on-call duties one day during the week and one weekend every seven weeks, with double-time pay for any on-call jobs after 40 hours. Upon permanent employment, 100% of medical benefits are covered, though employees must cover vision and dental for themselves and dependents.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Tampa, FL.
