hiring salary range: $1,673.83 - $2,166.13 biweekly range

$43,519.50 - $56,319.36 annual range

anticipated biweekly salary: $1,903.28

a competitive area differential (cad) additive in the amount of $769.60 will be added to the annual salary.

your specific responsibilities:

perform a variety of technical and non-technical trade-skilled work which may include the performance and/or oversight of technicians performing repairs, remodeling, altering, constructing, and/or maintaining hard-wall and modular offices; carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (hvac); and other general trades applicable to routine and emergency repairs and maintenance. Oversee and maintain building maintenance/facilities related work order requests.

Receive, schedule, assign, track and close out work orders. Quality check the work of maintenance staff.

identify and troubleshoot building and equipment problems; determine solutions, materials, cost, and effort necessary to correct and restore normal operations. Contact vendors and contractors as needed. Obtain quotes and/or proposals prior to the purchase of parts, services and other supplies needed for emergency and non-emergency repairs, adhering to the department policies and procedures related to the use of the state purchasing card.

coordinate and monitor contractors performing repairs/installations to all building maintenance related equipment and ensure work is performed in accordance with the established scope of work.

perform scheduled walk‑through inspections for assigned facilities; inspecting operating equipment, troubleshoot if needed to identify causes and take corrective action safely, effectively, efficiently, completely, and in a timely manner.
