Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
You’re the person crews call when something won’t start, won’t tow, won’t pump, or won’t move. You don’t just fix equipment — you protect momentum. At Sea & Shoreline, our work happens on boats, barges, trailers, and remote job sites. When equipment fails, projects stall. When equipment runs well, crews win.
This is not a shop-only mechanic role. This is a road warrior position — traveling between project sites to inspect, repair, maintain, and improve the reliability of our boats, trailers, pumps, heavy equipment, and specialty restoration tools. You bring calm to field disruptions, structure to equipment systems, and credibility to safety conversations. You help make the “S&S way” visible through dependable tools and operational readiness.

- Experienced & Field-Tested – You have hands-on mechanical experience in marine, heavy equipment, construction fleet, or similar environments. You’re comfortable around engines (gas and diesel), hydraulics, trailers, and electrical systems.
- Technically Skilled – You can diagnose mechanical and electrical issues confidently and efficiently. Welding, fabrication, or marine certifications are a plus.
- Digitally & Technically Savvy – You understand that clean data supports operational clarity. You’re comfortable using software and mobile tools to:
- Track inventory and parts

- Safety-Minded – You treat safe equipment as non-negotiable. You proactively inspect, document, and correct issues before they become incidents.
- Physically Capable – You’re comfortable lifting 50+ lbs, working outdoors, in heat, around water, and in dynamic field environments.
- Calm Under Pressure – When breakdowns happen, you stay steady. You bring solutions, not frustration. You explain issues simply and directly — building trust with crews and leadership alike.
- Aligned with the S&S Way – You lead through credibility, humility, grit, and practical knowledge — not ego.
