Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Berkeley Staffing L.L.C. is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine requirements
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard according to specifications
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and trim
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
• Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects in a timely manner
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
