Salary Range: $22.00 to $24.00 Hourly

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on diesel engines, overhead cranes, hoists, and elevators.

• Inspect lever/hand chain hoists, fall protection, and rigging to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturers, OSHA, and ANSI standards. Stay current on applicable standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, estimate, repair, and proof load test.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs.
• Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily schedule; coordinating work orders by priority.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists, both manual and digital.
• Build and maintain customer confidence by maintaining a good response time, informing sales of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.
• Maintain all company equipment and tools in compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and certifications, i.e., vehicle, forklifts, man lifts, operating machinery, etc.
• Be responsible for keeping a proper stock level of inventory of stock items.
• Create and formalize information for proposals of all replacement and repair opportunities and forward to the Service Branch Manager for next steps.
• Keep training credentials up to date. Sponsored by the company.
• Other functions as required.

• Must possess the ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 460 VAC 3‑phase electrical motors and control circuitry.
• Must be able to travel to Orlando as dictated by service and customer needs.
• Must be comfortable working at certain heights.
• Must own electrician hand tools, quality electrical test meter, and steel‑toed boots.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, currently possess, or can immediately secure a valid TWIC card.
• Technical education or certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR).

• Must be able to work efficiently outdoors with regular exposure to heat or cold.
• Must be able to comfortably work from elevated heights in order to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Must be willing and able to travel to job sites or other branches to assist as needed to maintain customer satisfaction and safety.
