Certified Apartment Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily apartment community in Tampa, Florida
. We are looking for a dependable, skilled maintenance professional with strong apartment maintenance experience who can provide exceptional service and help maintain a quality living environment for .
- Complete service requests efficiently and professionally
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property
- Assist with apartment make‑readies and unit turns
- Ensure community grounds, amenities, and common areas are well-maintained
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders
- Participate in emergency and on‑call maintenance rotations as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of multifamily apartment maintenance experience
- EPA Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience working with property management companies
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
- Knowledge of apartment maintenance best practices
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
