Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Inspector Service Technician
Position Location:
This role supports our Tampa, FL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Tampa, Brandon, Lakeland, St. Petersburg, Clearwater area.
Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Inspector Technicians perform service, repairs, and installation associated with fire sprinkler systems and other water‑based equipment in accordance with all national and local standards.
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
- Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water‑based equipment inspections and testing
- Properly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on‑site
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
- Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care
- 1+ yearsof experience in the installation and/or repair of water‑based equipment (Mid Level)
- 3+ yearsof experience in the installation and/or repair of water‑based equipment (Senior Level)
- Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high‑lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 5+ years of experience with installation and repair of water‑based equipment
- Ability to read/understand design Experience with installation and repair of water‑based equipment
- High school diploma, state‑recognized GED, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Pay range: $49,195 - $113,587 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
