• Work closely with the Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and install fire alarm systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
• Assist with alarm work and ensure that proper work is conducted in a timely and accurate manner, following all codes and WAFS standards.
• Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
• Work outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons, including summer months.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, bending, lifting (up to 70 pounds), climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking regularly.
• Report to the Service & Alarms Superintendent/Manager and work under the guidance of the Alarm Technician.

• Electrical experience required.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to travel within the local community.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test and background check, including 10 years of employment verification.
