Access Control Field Technician

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems for our clients. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys problem‑solving, working independently, and delivering high‑quality installations.

• Install, program, and service commercial access control systems
• Install and configure CCTV camera systems and NVRs
• Install, program, and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems
• Run, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling
• Configure network‑connected security devices
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues
• Train customers on system operation and best practices
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
• Complete service calls and installation projects independently and with a team

• 5+ years of commercial access control installation and service experience
• Experience with card readers, RFID systems, magnetic locks, electric strikes, request‑to‑exit devices, telephone entry systems and smart locks
• 3+ years of commercial CCTV installation and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with burglar alarm installation, programming, and service
• Working knowledge of networking and IP‑based systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background screening
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Some travel required
