HVAC Technician, Commercial

** Overview*
* ABM is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to support commercial clients in and around the local area. This is a field-based, commercial service role focused on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems. Technicians are dispatched from home. Residential-only experience is not a fit for this role.

** Responsibilities*
* + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs and large packaged units

+ Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for contracted customers

+ Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using industry-standard tools

+ Service large-tonnage equipment (100 plus tons preferred)

+ Document work performed and communicate clearly with customers

+ Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards

** Qualifications*
* + 5-7 plus years of commercial HVAC service experience

+ Strong troubleshooting and PM/service background

+ EPA Universal Certification required

+ High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade training preferred)

+ Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge

** Preferred Experience*
* + Large-tonnage equipment

+ Air-cooled chillers (any level)

+ Commercial or industrial refrigeration

** Requirements*
* + Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

+ Ability to lift equipment and perform physical job duties

+ Pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR required
