Job Description

• Troubleshooting issues with Link Runner AT2000 cable testers.
• Installing cabling infrastructure under floors or in ceilings.
• Ensuring cables are properly labeled and identified.
• Completing work orders using Remedy online system.
• Patch network cables in Telecommunications Rooms on multiple levels of classifications and networks.

• Proven work experience as a Cable Technician or similar role.
• 5+ years experience installing, terminating, patching & splicing fiber optic cables and copper (CAT5/6) Ethernet cables.
• Ability to terminate fiber optic cables of various types (single‑mode vs. multi‑mode OM3) and knowledge of fiber optic color code. Knowledge of fiber optic connectors LC, SC, MTRJ, ST, etc.
• Ability to use an RJ45 crimper & punch‑down tool for terminating copper with T568B color code.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Able to work under floors and on ladders on a daily basis.
• Preferred BICSI certifications.
• Willingness to travel CONUS & OCCONUS up to 10% each year.
• Valid passport with expiration greater than 6 months.
• Current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI status.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Hourly rate likely between $71,400.00 and $96,600.00. Salary will be based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
