Role Description The Service Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based at two residential communities in Tarpon Springs and Port Richey, FL. The Service Technician will perform daily maintenance and repair tasks, including diagnosing and resolving issues in apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and grounds. Responsibilities include completing work orders, conducting preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and ensuring all equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
The role also involves responding to resident service requests, communicating clearly about repair timelines, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The Service Technician will collaborate closely with property management and maintenance teams to support overall property upkeep and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance for residential or commercial properties.
- Ability to effectively perform Troubleshooting and Field Service tasks for building systems and equipment.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a resident-focused and professional approach.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair; relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA) are a plus.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and follow all safety protocols.
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail when handling multiple work orders.
- Comfort working on-site, including occasional evening or weekend assignments as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a maintenance or service technician in property management or a related field preferred.
