Role Description

This Position is open to candidates in any US State. HQ is in Florida where initial training is held.

Our Instructors are responsible for delivering classroom and hands‑on training on crane operation, rigging practices, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance to a variety of industrial and construction clients. Day‑to‑day tasks include preparing and updating training materials, conducting equipment and site‑based demonstrations, evaluating participant performance, and documenting training outcomes in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations. The instructor will collaborate with other specialists to ensure course content reflects current industry best practices and aligns with OSHA, ANSI, and other relevant standards.

Additional responsibilities may include supporting certification prep programs, providing input on client safety reviews, and occasionally assisting with inspections or consulting projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Strong crane and rigging expertise, including practical experience operating and inspecting mobile and/or overhead cranes, and applying safe lifting and load‑handling practices.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards, such as OSHA, ANSI, and applicable industry regulations related to cranes, rigging, and material handling equipment.
  • Effective instructional and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, engaging training in both classroom and field settings to diverse adult learner groups.
  • Experience developing or using training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises, with attention to accuracy and clarity.
  • Strong observational and documentation abilities to assess trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training records.
  • Ability to work safely in industrial and construction environments, including climbing, lifting, and working around heavy equipment as required for demonstrations.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications CCO or NCCER are highly beneficial.
  • Travel is a mandatory component of this role.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally as required for client training assignments.
The Best Fit To Our Team Will Have
  • Extensive knowledge and skill in the operation of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes.
  • Knowledge of jobsite situations as related to cranes and rigging.
  • Rigging experience would be a large complement to the crane knowledge you bring.
  • At least 10 years of crane operator experience.
  • NCCER/ CCO Certifications.
  • Bilingual – Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish.
  • Willing to sign a "Statement of Confidentiality, Conflict of Interest" Agreements.
  • TWIC card.
  • A strong willingness to learn more.
