Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour

Requirements- Previous TIG welding experience
- Proficiency in Tungsten Inert Gas welding techniques
- Understanding of American Welding Society standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications
- Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Understanding of welding procedures, angles, gaps, and joint preparation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precise welds
- Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina and ability to hold a welding torch steady for extended periods
- Ability to weld in various positions, including flat and vertical positions
- Commitment to following all safety and quality procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Translate drawings and specifications into accurate welding and fabrication work
- Set up and safely operate TIG welding machines, fixtures, and other shop equipment
- Join metal components using a non-consumable tungsten electrode and shielding gas
- Produce precise TIG welds in various positions
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces before welding
- Position parts and confirm proper angles, alignment, and gaps
- Tack-weld components to hold them securely before final welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper dimensions
- Identify and correct defects or inconsistencies
- Grind, file, and finish welded surfaces to remove rough areas
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards
