Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Fabricate and maintain structural, hydraulic, and fluid systems using Schedule 10 stainless steel and carbon steel pipe on launch mounts and towers;
Perform Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/arc welding), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG);
Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate weldments to precise dimensions using standard trade tools and flame-cutting equipment;
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations and determine appropriate weld procedures and filler materials;
Maintain a safe work area, especially when working at heights or on complex launch structures, following all safety procedures and best practices
