Experienced A&P Mechanic (1st Shift) - Tampa, FL

Textron Aviation is hiring a full‑time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). The role supports maintenance of Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, including inspections, modifications, and repairs. This position is eligible for up to a $15,000 pre‑tax sign‑on bonus based on experience.

• Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
• Perform mechanical tasks such as diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems in preparation for flight and delivery.
• Diagnose and repair turbine engines, including run‑ups, and troubleshoot, inspect, and repair other engine types.
• Install airframe system and component changes, perform system checkouts, and apply service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
• Utilize tools and equipment including tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.

• High school education or GED required.
• Valid A&P license required.
• Knowledge of FAT/100‑hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures per FAR 43 required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, or aircraft/flight maintenance.
