Technician
This role focuses on repairing wood and metal components on commercial construction projects, with a strong emphasis on framing and rough carpentry. You will interpret blueprints, perform remodeling and renovation work, and use a wide range of hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Repair wood and metal structures on commercial construction projects with a focus on quality and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform framing and rough carpentry work, including layout, measuring, cutting, and installation.
- Carry out remodeling and renovation tasks on both commercial and residential construction projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily tasks and repairs.
- Troubleshoot construction issues on site and develop practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Work on multiple projects as needed and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and bring all required personal tools to the job site from the first day of work.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Proven experience in commercial construction, with a focus on rough carpentry and framing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
- Strong carpentry skills, including framing, rough carpentry, and repair work.
- Hands-on experience with remodeling and renovation projects in commercial and residential settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a construction environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing job site environment.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on active construction sites.
- Reliability in bringing and maintaining all required personal tools from day one.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Experience in drywall, repair, and related finishing tasks.
- Familiarity with both commercial and residential construction methods and materials.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with site teams and supervisors.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

WorkEnvironment
You will work primarily on active construction sites, often outdoors, where conditions can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The role involves physical, hands-on work using a variety of hand tools and power tools in a rough carpentry and framing environment. Standard hours are 40 per week, Monday through Friday, with steady project flow across multiple sites.
The setting is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring adherence to site safety practices and appropriate construction attire suitable for outdoor and job site conditions.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
