We are seeking a Field Technician for security integration projects. This role involves installations of access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems for long-term projects at various client sites. The position requires the ability to work independently, read technical drawings, and maintain high-quality installation standards. This is a 12-month contract to start with potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations of access control systems, including panels, card readers, and related hardware.
• Install security cameras and CCTV systems according to project specifications.
• Ensure clean and professional installation on large-scale security integration projects.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to complete installation tasks accurately.
• Use Fieldwire for documentation and adhere to all project protocols.
• Handle and use hand tools effectively for installation purposes.
• Work independently under the direction of a lead technician.
• Maintain a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential start times from 6 AM onwards.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

2+ years of experience in access control and CCTV hardware installations is required.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in low voltage systems, Cat 6 cabling, and general networking. Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce clean, high-quality work. Capability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Experience with hand tools required for security system installations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Open Path, Lenel, or Genetec.
• Familiarity with Axis cameras.
