HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary

Apple One is hiring for an experienced HVAC Service Technician supporting commercial HVAC repair and possible installation work throughout the Tampa Bay area. This role is ideal for a skilled field technician with strong HVAC/R knowledge who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical equipment, working directly with customers, and providing reliable repair solutions.

This position offers steady commercial service work, a company vehicle, and the opportunity to continue building a long-term career in the mechanical trades. The team values field expertise, strong communication, accountability, and a solutions-focused approach. Technicians can expect support from leadership and account managers who are actively involved on job sites and committed to helping customers resolve equipment issues efficiently and professionally.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial HVAC and mechanical equipment in the Tampa Bay area.
• Support commercial HVAC installations as needed based on project and customer requirements.
• Evaluate equipment issues in the field and recommend practical, effective repair solutions.
• Communicate professionally with customers, account managers, and field team members regarding service needs and job status.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and follow applicable safety, quality, and union work standards.
• Operate a company vehicle while traveling to local commercial service locations.

• Pay range: $38 to $43 per hour.
• Must be willing to join the local union, and be in good standing with union.
• Local Tampa Bay area service territory.

For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, Apple One is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
