R.T. Moore Co., Inc., a leading family-owned mechanical contractor, is seeking an Experienced Plumber Foreman to lead plumbing crews on residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. In this role, you'll oversee layout, rough-in, top-out, and finish work, ensuring code-compliant, high-quality installations delivered safely and on schedule. You'll coordinate with superintendents and other trades, manage materials, and resolve field issues. As a working foreman, you'll train apprentices, model craftsmanship and integrity, and help build long-term customer relationships while advancing your career with a growing contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise plumbing crews on residential and commercial construction projects
  • Plan daily work, delegate tasks, and monitor crew productivity and quality
  • Interpret blueprints, specs, and layouts for rough-in, top-out, and finish
  • Ensure installations meet plumbing codes, company standards, and inspection requirements
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflow with superintendents, GC, and other trades
  • Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen to build skills and craftsmanship
  • Enforce all jobsite safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Manage material, tools, and equipment needs to prevent delays
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field issues, defects, and customer punch lists
  • Document progress, report issues, and communicate with project management
