Burgess Civil LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborer/Field Tech to join our exceptional construction teams (Pipe Crew, Road Crew, and Punch-Out Crew). The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, familiarity with tools, and a strong work ethic.
About the Role:Are you ready to change the game and join an incredible team? As a Field Technician, you will:
- Preparing construction sites, materials and tools.
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools and equipment.
- Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
- Digging trenches, holes, and back filling areas as needed for construction.
- Assisting with laying pipes
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- And other duties assigned by the Foreman
- At least 1-2 years of experience
- Reliable transportation.
- All positions require that you travel to different locations based on business needs.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch and able to stand for long period of time
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different terrain types
Compensation will be based on experience.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
