RDS Industrial, Inc. is an established custom metal fabrication company serving commercial and residential projects throughout Central Florida. For more than 25 years, we have fabricated and installed custom architectural metalwork including railings, stairs, gates, canopies, pergolas, ladders, fences, and other specialty metal products.

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with construction or installation experience who takes pride in quality work, can work well with a crew, and is comfortable working on active construction sites.

As a Field Installer, you will work with our installation team to safely and accurately install custom-fabricated metal products at commercial and residential job sites.

• Install railings, stairs, gates, fences, canopies, ladders, structural and architectural metal components, and other custom-fabricated products
• Read and work from shop drawings, plans, measurements, and installation details
• Measure, lay out, level, plumb, align, and securely anchor fabricated components
• Use hand tools, power tools, drills, grinders, saws, levels, and other installation equipment
• Perform field adjustments as needed to achieve proper fit and finish
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and handling fabricated materials
• Safely operate or work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and other access equipment as required
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, other trades, and job-site personnel
• Protect finished products and surrounding surfaces during installation
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Follow RDS safety procedures and all applicable job-site safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Represent RDS professionally when working at customer and contractor locations

• Previous construction, installation, fabrication, or similar skilled-trade experience
• Experience installing metal railings, stairs, structural or miscellaneous metals is a plus
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and understand basic construction drawings
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately and pay attention to fit, alignment, and finished appearance
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights when required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Central Florida and other locations as projects require
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull
• Lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work areas when required
• Safely perform physical construction and installation work throughout the workday

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: RDS Industrial shop and various project/job-site locations throughout Central and South Florida

Schedule: Day shift; overtime and schedule adjustments may be required based on project needs

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
