HVAC Retail Installer

About The Role

An HVAC Retail Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This includes working with various equipment, following safety protocols, and assisting customers with system selection and energy efficiency. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and performing routine maintenance.

Full-time position in Tampa, FL.

• Install ductwork, including supply and return ducts, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and sealing
• Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other piping components according to specifications and regulations
• Mount and secure HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, heat pumps, furnaces, and condensing units, ensuring proper alignment and clearances
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Coordinate with other tradespeople on the construction site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes

• Minimum of one year of experience in HVAC installation and EPA certification
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR report
• Must possess the ability to own and use power tools
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing, and kneeling
• Ability to wear company-approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal, or OSHA regulations
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
