Overview
Opioid Peer Coordinator (Finance) - This position will contribute to three initiatives: promoting HIV/HCV and substance use screenings in the community, supporting Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and Community Consortium activities as they relate to substance use, and overseeing educational activities related to substance use. The position will report directly to the Project Director for the grant and will work closely with the clinic's Outreach Coordinator.
The Opioid Peer Coordinator will report to the Project Director of the Opioid Grant.
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and two years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program.
- Master’s degree in public health or related field or equivalent work experience
- HIV 500/501 certified
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adept in use of Microsoft Office tools

Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed: (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
