Coach Counselor Pt

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Coach Counselor, Part Time or PRN at Les Peters Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida.

Les Peters Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

A youth’s length of stay is determined by the youth's assessed risk to reoffend, their progress in reducing applicable criminogenic needs and risk factors, and the completion of their individualized treatment plan.

Pay
: $19 Per Hour

What you will do: As a Coach Counselor, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time, and assist and mentor the Youth as they learn and develop within the program.

To be considered, you should: Possess a High School Diploma or GED, have at least one year of experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position, or 60 hours of college education, and possess a valid Driver’s License.

This position's schedule will be either Part-time or PRN (as-needed basis); full-time would also be considered.
