Easterseals Florida delivers impactful services through 52 programs statewide, supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. The Incredible Years program is a free evidence‑based program that is offered to parents of young children in Hillsborough County to promote children’s emotional regulation, social competence, language skills, school readiness, and relationships with others.
Salary will be $48,000-$51,000 per year (based on experience).
Full‑time position 37.5 hours per week (plus insurance and time off benefits).
Assistant Family Support Specialist – Tampa – Incredible Years ProgramWe are seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Family Support Specialist. This program serves children ages 3 to 8 and their families, providing group‑based therapeutic sessions that support early mental health intervention. The role facilitates parent/guardian groups, child‑focused groups and in‑home sessions, ensures program compliance, supports grant deliverables, and contributes to positive outcomes for participating families.

- Provide services at various locations throughout Hillsborough County (driving is an essential responsibility)
- Facilitate parent/guardian and children group and in‑home sessions
- Work with community agencies and coordinate agency collaboration
- Market the Incredible Years program to community agencies and families
- Assist in and attend community outreach events at schools, family information fairs, open houses, disability resource events, and family nights
- Establish a comfortable group environment
- Encourage positive group interaction, keeping the focus of the conversation on the situation or issue
- Support the objectives and philosophy of the Incredible Years program and Easterseals Florida
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, early education, or a related field
- Minimum one-year direct experience in a related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Detail‑oriented self‑starter who can efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- An energetic and professional individual who will promote a positive, respectful, and team‑based environment
- Ability to meet approved driver qualifications for driving your personal vehicle, minimum age 21, good driving history
