Lutheran Services Florida seeks a Child Welfare Consultant to strengthen outcomes for children and families across community-based programs. In this role, you will assess program performance, ensure compliance with Florida child welfare standards, and lead data-informed improvement efforts. You'll coach staff and partners, facilitate trainings, and collaborate across Community & Social Services teams to design effective initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting support for child welfare programs across LSF service areas
  • Assess program performance, compliance, and outcomes using data and case reviews
  • Develop recommendations and action plans to improve child safety, permanency, and well being
  • Provide coaching and technical assistance to community partners and internal teams
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, trainings, and workshops
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for funders and leadership
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal child welfare regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and refine community based initiatives
  • Engage families, caregivers, and community agencies to strengthen service coordination
  • Monitor implementation of improvement plans and track progress toward goals
