Stratus Software Engineer
Location:
Tampa, FL (Day 1 Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Must-Have Skills- Experience with Stratus VOS (Virtual Operating System)
- Alternate:
Strong in Unix/Linux, C/C++, and familiar with Compass / First Data technologies
- Experience level: 8-10 years in relevant technical skillsets
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Excellent product knowledge of merchant payment domain
- Strong knowledge of Stratus platform (6-7 years)
- Strong technical skills in Stratus, VOS
- Expert proficiency in C/C++ programming language
- Expertise in Linux/Unix internals, multithreading, sockets, IPCs
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Knowledge in SQL/Oracle/No
SQL DBs or other DBMS - Knowledge in payment domain is an added advantage
- Excellent domain knowledge of merchant acquirer business and understanding of payment messages
