Cloud Engineer - Software, Backend Developer
Akkodis is seeking a GoLang Tech Lead for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL
. Candidates must have deep expertise in Go programming to architect scalable microservices and lead technical decision‑making.
$45/hour to $47/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services and microservices using Go (Golang).
- Architect high‑performance, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in coding standards and software design.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, Dev Ops, and frontend teams to define requirements, integrations, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks while ensuring reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance in cloud‑native environments.
- Drive continuous improvement by adopting emerging GoLang tools, technologies, and architectural patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 10+ years of backend engineering experience with significant hands on GoLang development.
- Proven expertise in architecting and developing scalable microservices using Go, with strong proficiency in Postgre
SQL, REST/gRPC APIs, and distributed systems. - Experience with cloud native environments and Dev Ops tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Pay Details$45.00 to $47.00 per hour.
