Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL
. Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka to qualify for this role.
Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DeveloperJob Responsibilities
- Developing scalable Java and Spring Boot services while implementing REST APIs and integration workflows across distributed systems.
- Building event‑driven components using Kafka to support real‑time processing and high‑throughput data pipelines.
- Designing and deploying cloud‑native solutions on AWS using ECS, Postgres, SNS, S3, API Gateway, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with SDLC standards and Agile delivery practices.
- Managing source control, build pipelines, and deployments using Git, Bitbucket, and modern CI/CD processes.
- Troubleshooting integration issues and optimizing microservices to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8–10 years of experience required.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka with the ability to build scalable integration and event‑driven services.
- Proven capability to work with AWS cloud components (ECS, Postgres, SNS, S3, API Gateway, IAM, Cloud Watch) and apply SDLC/Agile principles across complex development cycles.

Pay Details$51.00 to $53.00 per hour.
