Job Title and Overview
Director GenAI Engineering and Transformation Senior Manager (Hybrid) – This role drives the adoption of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic flows, focusing on process efficiencies, automation, simplification, and risk reduction across enterprise business solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to technical direction, engineering best practices, and collaborate with technology teams to push generative AI across enterprise applications and develop partnerships with third‑party providers.
Responsibilities- Contribute significantly to engineering and research initiatives within the Generative AI domain.
- Adopt a product‑focused approach, ensuring development of robust, scalable, and user‑friendly solutions.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment by continuously testing, learning, and tackling cutting‑edge problems.
- Actively engage in pair programming, promote lean methodologies, and streamline processes by removing unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Prioritize rapid delivery and iterative development, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to pivot rather than pursuing a perfect upfront solution.
- Develop foundational components and mature technology capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Drive enterprise‑wide adoption and successful integration of generative AI solutions.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving capabilities and proactive learning mindset, continuously acquiring new skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Be adaptable and resourceful in navigating complex technical and organizational challenges.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating sound ethical judgment and consideration for the firm’s reputation, clients and assets.
- Deep hands‑on experience in engineering and executing enterprise solutions that scale effectively.
- Team building, people management, and mentoring skills.
- Fluency in at least two programming languages, with strong preference for Python and Java; proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script and Go is also highly valued.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, transformers, agentic frameworks, vector stores, and search algorithms.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring (AI, Boot, Core, etc.), N8N, Flask, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, ADK, and MLFlow.
- Familiarity with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience building complex RAG applications and AI Agent workflows using platforms such as Lang Graph, Crew AI, Autogen, or ADK.
- Proficiency in database technologies, such as Oracle, Postgres, or Mongo
DB. - Experience with messaging and integration platforms.
- UI development skills with technologies such as React
JS, Gradio, Stream Lit. - Experience designing and implementing REST and Web Socket APIs.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
- Experience with build and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins and Gradle.
- Good engineering experience with high‑performance, large‑scale AI/ML systems.
- Experience in model risk management, guardrails development, and developing end‑user adoption pathways for AI/GenAI solutions.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies.
- Proven track record in producing high‑quality project artifacts and senior management reports within technology or risk & controls domains.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and lead product working groups, driving consensus on requirements and facilitating the development and implementation of processes, data, and system designs.
- Motivated self‑starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills and effectively navigate complex organizational structures.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
