Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.

• Create applications development infrastructure, develop and implement code, and conduct unit tests using Java frameworks and tools.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts using Angular
  
  JS and Java.
• Build and release applications, track and resolve defects in user acceptance testing and production environments, and troubleshoot code and data issues.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in the Operational Risk domain and collaborate with technical architects and business analysts to understand functional requirements.
• Prepare technical design and functional documents.
• Develop project plans and implementation strategies.
• Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and meet business goals.
• Identify and define necessary system enhancements, deploy new products and process improvements.
• Resolve high‑impact problems through in‑depth evaluations of complex business, system, and industry processes.
• Required to comply with Citi’s telecommuting/hybrid work schedule policy where applicable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
• At least 6 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience as a project manager, software engineer, developer, or similar role involving application design, development, and database modeling.
• Experience managing the software development life cycle, including scope definition and work‑hour estimation.
• Project implementation experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to design applications and prepare architecture diagrams (class, sequence).
• Proficiency developing solutions with Java, server‑side scripting, and front‑end technologies.
• Knowledge of scientific analysis and mathematical modeling for system design.
• Advanced SQL skills for building database models and validating risk data.
• Operational Risk domain expertise.
• Experience with Java, Oracle databases, Node.js, Angular, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Wage Range: $164,500 to $.
