Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, Fl. The ideal candidate must have advanced expertise in Java and Spring Boot, while developing scalable applications and supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $43/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java DeveloperJob Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot and Java
- Build and implement RESTful services, microservices, and backend components
- Develop and optimize database interactions using Oracle PL/SQL
- Write and execute unit tests using frameworks like JUnit to ensure code quality
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds and deployments
- Support cloud and container-based deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Java and Spring Boot development
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot (REST services, Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Pay Details: $41.00 to $43.00 per hour
