FX Risk Java Developer

We are seeking a Java developer with experience in risk calculation and financial technology to join our market technology team in Tampa, Florida.

• Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms for high‑performance, resilient Java applications.
• Develop distributed Java applications using multi‑threading (JDK
  11+) and TDD.
• Implement and maintain risk calculation services used by global markets.
• Interact with SQL and No
  
  SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, etc.).
• Integrate with messaging systems such as Kafka, Tibco, Solace.
• Troubleshoot and provide Level‑3 support for production issues.
• Work on Linux‑based environments and JVM performance tuning.

• 3+ years of experience in Java development and software engineering.
• Strong understanding of core Java, multi‑threading, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with SQL/No
  
  SQL databases and message queuing systems.
• Working knowledge of Linux and JVM internals.
• English proficiency at a B1 level.
• Background in systems analysis, project implementation, and consulting/project management techniques preferable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
