Principal Software Engineer

This role leads and mentors a team of engineers, shaping technology strategy, and building full‑stack cloud solutions using AWS and generative AI technologies.

• Develop rapid prototypes and translate concepts into working code.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment.
• Manage software delivery scope, risk, and timeline.
• Contribute to front‑end and back‑end development using cloud technology.
• Define and implement robust cloud architectures (AWS preferred).
• Lead and motivate a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality results.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
• Collaborate with product team, business team, and stakeholders.

• Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience
  • Master’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience
  • Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience
  • High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud services and well‑architected design principles
  • Full‑stack software development experience
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred), JavaScript, SQL/No

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Preferred Qualifications
  • API integration, serverless, microservices architecture
  • Experience with SQL/No
    
    SQL and vector databases for large language models
  • Experience with large language models, Lang Chain or llama
    
    Index, prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning
  • Website development and localization processes
  • Dev Ops/MLOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Design patterns, data structures, test‑driven development
  • NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis
  • Preferred Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering;
    Master’s with 6+ years experience or 8+ years experience
  • Cloud computing certificate
