Specialist - Architecture

Overview

A Java Technical Lead and Architect (Java Full Stack Lead) responsible for designing, overseeing the implementation, and ensuring the scalability, efficiency, and robustness of Java‑based software systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, interpreting business requirements, creating architectural blueprints, and guiding development teams to adhere to best practices.

• Design and implement system architecture, making high‑level design decisions and selecting appropriate technologies.
• Create detailed architectural blueprints and documentation to guide development teams.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and integration of components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, including code reviews and best practice adoption.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and mitigate technical risks.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on Java advancements, industry trends, and architectural patterns.
• Assist in project management, task assignment, and ensuring delivery of client‑facing features.

• Oracle Certified Associate Java SE 8 Programmer
• Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer
• Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Programmer
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Design Patterns, Collections, and Performance Techniques.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Hibernate, Microservice architecture, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology, JIRA, Code Review, Bit Bucket, JUnit, Kafka, JMS.
• Knowledge of Web Sphere and container platforms such as Open Shift/Kubernetes.

US Locations: $90,032.00 – $ per year, dependent on experience, skills, and internal equity.
