We are looking for Software Engineering/Computer Science students eager to learn while assisting with a multitude of software‑related tasks in our Software, Computer Tools, Computer Systems, and Integration Specialist groups, as needed.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to, providing technical support to senior engineers in design, test, documentation, and implementation, as well as installation and integration of software packages.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist senior level engineers in design, testing, documentation, implementation, and integration of software solutions.
Install and configure software packages, ensuring they meet security and performance standards.
Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic support for software systems.
Qualifications & Education Requirements- Enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree (or higher) program majoring in Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science, junior year or higher
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with C++ and/or C# programming languages
- Knowledge of SQL/Access database is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Flow is a plus
- Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Detail‑oriented and customer‑service oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be a U.S. citizen (due to U.S. Government contract requirements)
- Familiarity with Python programming is a plus
- Experience with personal projects such as building computers or setting up a network is a plus
- Maintain compliance with company security and data protection policies and procedures
- Properly mark and handle all information and materials in any form, ensuring no disclosure to personnel without a need‑to‑know
- All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company‑provided resources
- Incumbent must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance
This role operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
EligibilityOnly U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
