Senior Python Developer (Python | PySpark | Big Data)
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Right to Hire)
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and architect scalable Python/PySpark applications
- Build data engineering solutions using Apache Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem
- Design and implement AI agents and agentic workflows
- Develop data processing pipelines and optimize Spark performance
- Collaborate with Risk, Quants, Dev Ops, and Production Support teams
- Perform code reviews, enforce SDLC best practices, and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions
- Support Market Risk, Stress Testing, and Regulatory Risk initiatives
- Experience in Python and PySpark development
- Strong expertise in Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Pandas, and Num Py
- Experience with Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka, YARN, Map Reduce, and Zoo Keeper
- Strong SQL skills with query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with No
SQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) and data modeling - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Spark Graph
- Python & PySpark Development
- Apache Spark & Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Kafka, YARN)
