Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Algorithms Engineer

Seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Algorithms Engineer to design, model, implement, and optimize advanced signal processing algorithms supporting defense systems. This role focuses on algorithm development, embedded implementation, system architecture, and cross-functional integration across hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, model, and simulate advanced DSP algorithms using Python or MATLAB.
• Develop and optimize production-level C/C++ code for embedded processors.
• Support filtering, FFTs, modulation/demodulation, and signal processing pipelines.
• Define DSP system architectures and participate in processor selection decisions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams.
• Support integration, testing, debugging, and end-to-end system validation.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and establish testing and verification standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of DSP algorithm development experience.
• Strong C and C++ development experience for embedded systems.
• Deep understanding of signal processing fundamentals.
• Extensive MATLAB or Python (Sci Py/Num Py) experience.
• Experience taking DSP algorithms from concept through production deployment.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $81.73/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
