Tampa RV Rentals is seeking experienced Independent Contractor RV Transport Drivers (1099) to transport campers and RVs to and from designated locations throughout Tampa and surrounding areas.

This is a contract, assignment-based opportunity ideal for retirees, veterans, or individuals who enjoy independent work and flexible scheduling.

• Safely tow and transport campers and RVs to designated locations
• Perform pre- and post-transport safety inspections
• Ensure proper hitching and securement
• Communicate clearly regarding pickup and delivery details
• Represent Tampa RV Rentals professionally during client interactions
• Provide basic RV setup guidance when needed

• Half-ton trucks (F-150 class do not qualify); ¾-ton or larger truck strongly preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be reviewed. CDL preferred but not required.
• Prior towing experience (RV, camper, trailer, or similar)
• Ability to safely transport large trailers under various road conditions
• Professional, dependable, and safety-oriented
• Contract eligibility may be contingent upon successful completion of background screening and drug testing.
• May be required to obtain or maintain a valid DOT physical and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (medical card), depending on assignment requirements

• starting at $15+ per hour equivalent, based on experience and equipment
• Payment issued per completed transport assignment (1099)
• Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and operating expenses.
