iGas USA is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst – Supply Chain to bridge the gap between logistics operations and financial performance. In this role, you will develop complex forecasting models, manage freight movement budgets, and implement ERP solutions to drive efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in logistics accounting, Quick Books, and financial reporting within the transport and freight sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial forecasting models to assess future inventory requirements, aligning with evolving business objectives and market trends, and providing projected inventory volumes based on sales forecasts and current inventory levels. 20.0%
  • Arrange and manage freight movement for multiple products and clients, ensuring timely pickup and delivery, while optimizing transportation costs and performance. 12.0%
  • Monitor shipments of materials, products, and finished goods between locations and partners, ensuring efficient logistics operations and identifying opportunities for improvement. 9.0%
  • Interact with Business Units and external partners to resolve exceptions and expedite shipments, ensuring smooth communication across departments to meet deadlines and resolve logistics-related issues. 9.0%
  • Resolve complaints or delivery issues by offering effective solutions, maintaining strong relationships with partners, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and cost-effective resolutions. 6.0%
  • Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics through data-driven insights, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending new processes. 10.0%
  • Analyze complex problems, collect and evaluate data, and draw valid conclusions for effective decision-making, ensuring operational and financial goals are met. 7.0%
  • Review and process invoices for freight movements, verifying that all applicable charges are valid and accurate, while working closely with finance teams to ensure cost allocation aligns with budget projections. 5.0%
  • Create and manage budgets for logistics operations, conducting financial analysis to identify potential savings opportunities and improve budget adherence. 6.0%
  • Design and implement new logistics strategies in response to market changes, aiming to balance cost control with service excellence. 6.0%
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring that logistics operations meet corporate standards and financial goals, and provide actionable insights to senior management. 5.0%
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal audit policies, particularly in areas related to transportation, freight, and supply chain financial reporting. 5.0%
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Finance
  • Five (5) years in any occupation with logistics and accounting experience
  • Five (5) years in any occupation with logistics and accounting experience must include:
    Three (3) years of ERP system implementation experience. Three (3) years of Quick Books experience. Three (3) years of financial reporting experience in transport, freight and supply chain
  • ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Logistics or Finance and three (3) years in any occupation with logistics and accounting experience. Must have skills listed above.
