Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is looking to add Light Duty Tow Operators to our team! We value a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

No Slip Seating – Keep Your Assigned Truck!

All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck.

Essential Functions
  • Respond promptly to accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and roadside emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with motorists while en route to service calls.
  • Carry out minor repairs or tow vehicles to repair facilities as needed.
  • Safely secure and transport vehicles on your truck.
  • Remove vehicles parked in unauthorized locations.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, bending, reaching, climbing
  • Significant physical strength and stamina

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience required.
  • Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required! We will train you to operate the tow truck!
  • Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work.
  • Clean driving record required for at least the past 3 years.
  • MUST be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Commission Pay
  • 30% Commission
    • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position.
Schedule
  • Five-day and Six-day work weeks available (Weekends are mandatory).
