Position:
Driver Merchandiser (Tampa)
Start time 12:30 am, working 4 days a week with Sunday and two other days off back‑to‑back.
What You Will DoAs a Driver Merchandiser you will deliver and/or unload products to customer locations on designated routes, stocking beverage brands on shelves, displays and in coolers.
Roles and Responsibilities- Drive and deliver pre‑ordered products to assigned accounts
- Check accuracy and stability of the load
- Deliver products to customers and merchandise, display, and rotate them according to company standards
- Invoice and collect monies due
- Pick up company property and secure company assets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Settle all accounts daily
- Use smartphone technology for customer orders and invoicing
- Operate Electronic Logging Systems and fleet management software
- Follow routing software guidance
- At least 21 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid Commercial Class A driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no major moving violations in the last three years
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Ability to operate a hand‑truck and powered industrial equipment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Must pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT medical card
- Operate manual transmission
- High School diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Local delivery experience (preferred)
- Customer service and cash handling experience (preferred)
- Haz Mat endorsement may be required (preferred)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Repetitively lift, carry and position objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Repetitively push and pull objects up to 50 pounds while kneeling, squatting, reaching at the head or waist, bending at the knees, and below the knees
- Repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (e.g., pallet jack or hand truck) with loads up to 100 yards without assistance
- Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for manipulating objects of varying size and weight
- Maintain physical exertion over sustained periods to complete job activities
- Read information in small, medium, and large print
- Stand for a minimum of 8 hours during the workday (up to 10 hours)
- Walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday
- Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment
- Use an audio headset to listen to directions in English
